They have a lot proteins to choose from. They also load the sandwiches up. This is our go to spot for deli sandwiches in Concord. My favorite is the smoked turkey.

Just a classic old school deli that seems to sadly be in short supply these days. Food was good. Portions were generous. I wish there was more seating so I could bring more people next time, but I understand they can't help the size of their location.

Incredible find. Humongous sandwiches for a great price. I got the Veggie Explosion Panini ($10) and added turkey for $2; my husband got a smoked turkey, cheddar, Gouda with the works on sourdough. A line out the door at lunch so you know it's good, and the service and staff were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend for takeout, but maybe split a sandwich with a friend. A woman in line near the front (probably a regular) told the rest of us in line: "these sandwiches are huge, I have a hard time wrapping my mouth around it!" Lol.

I love me some Parma Delicatessen in Concord on Clayton Road! The sandwiches are delicious and HUGE! This Italian mix is filled with mortadella, ham, salami, prosciutto, and provolone. This sammich is FAT! I could only eat half; I made another sandwich today for lunch. They have many other popular choices, including garlic rosemary turkey, meatballs, pastrami, Muffuletta, and hot crab. There are many bread choices, but I appreciate that the bread doesn't overwhelm the sandwich like some spots. In addition to killer sandwiches, they have a large selection of cold salads. During the week, they have lots of hot items and daily specials. They also have a great selection of chips and Italian snack items. They have several tables inside to enjoy your lunch, but most folks grab their sandwiches to go. The woman beside me was enjoying the Reuben when I was there. It looked amazing, and she said it was delicious. If they weren't closed today, I would go back and try it! Thanks, Mary and Sam Totah for taking care of me and your delicious eats! I have been here several times and each time, the sandwhich is just as good as the previous. There is seating but it is not much. Best is to take it home to eat! The food here is not only just HUGE but also very delicious. If you are nitpicky with workers using gloves then this ain't the place for you. They do wash their hands after each transaction and etc. Unfortunately my sibling saw one instance while waiting to pay that a worker touched/scratched the inside of his ear before touching a sandwhich he was making. It wasn't ours but it was something they told me afterwards.... Anyways, service is quick and easy. Most of my visits were very chill and laid back. Workers are cool and always nice to me. Probably cause I'm round, short and can barely see over the counter lol. This place can get hectic and really busy at peak times. The wait for the sandwhich isn't long though. You go in, wait for your turn, place your order, wait a bit, pay and off you go to enjoy the monster sandwhich. The sandwhich can be shared or eaten as a whole in 1 meal or split into 2. It just depends how hungry you are or looking for a post-workout meal. The first time I came here, I got the Garlic Herb Turkey (GHT) with Swiss on Sourdough Roll with all the works ($15). I also got the Italian Mix on Dutch Crunch with all the works ($17) for my brother. The GHT +Swiss on Sourdough Roll is a 10/10. The first time I saw this thing I was like "oh sh**! That's a big *** sandwhich!" There was literally a mountain pile of GHT!! It was cool to see that they are not shy in giving a lot for the customers and I really appreciate that! It wasn't dry at all too like other sandwhich places and had the right amount of fixings in each bite. The Italian Mix (consists of Salami, Mortadella, Prosciutto with provolone) is a 10/10 and it was so good that it KO'd my sibling out for the day! Normally he doesn't like sandwhiches but this one was 100% approved. I also have tried other combinations with Garlic Herb Turkey (GHT) and another meat as a combo or just GHT with different type of cheese, Pesto and all the works. They don't skimp on the veggies either. GHT + Provalone on Sourdough ($15) is 9.5/10 GHT + Mortadella + Swiss on Sourdough ($15.50) is a 9.5/10. GHT + Garlic Cheddar + Pesto on Sourdough ($16) is a 10/10. Pepper Turkey + Garlic Cheddar (they put regular Cheddar instead) + Pesto. ($16) is a 7/10. GHT + Pastrami + Swiss on Dutch Crunch ($14) is a 9/10 - Also another banger that KO'd someone for the day lol. I have not yet tried their Smoked Meat and Cheese selection or other possible combinations they have up on the board so we shall see.

Can someone say FAT sandwiches loud !! This place ( PARMA ) is tucked in corner off Clayton road in concord. Small place with a lot of deliciousness behind the counter . I popped in for lunch today to try out the pastrami sandwich and Swiss on a Dutch crutch Roll . Man when I opened up the paper BAM it hits you. I think the only thing I was missing was a pickle on the side. I also ordered the pasta salad which gave me good vibes also!! Will continue to frequent to try new sandwiches and food on the menu . Found my go to deli near home! Small mom and pop shop with an extensive menu and many bread and side options to cater to your cravings. It was my first time coming in and the worker who helped me was nothing but patient and kind. A perfect stop for a picnic since there are many parks nearby! Seating is limited so I would suggest taking your sub to go Forgot to mention: portion sizes are HUGE

Small deli with mighty flavor! Parma has so many combinations including different breads and meats with lots of sides available such as pasta and potato salads. The size of the sandwiches are plentiful and delicious. Its a very small space with only a couple tables so take out might be the only option when theyre busy. Since its small it can be difficult to stay organized in a line to order and reach the register at the deep end of the deli. Dont forget to ask for a punch card!

Had a meet up with friends in the Concord for some pickleball. My friends who live in the area suggested a place for lunch after playing and I recommended a deli in Concord that my friend Harvey K. had suggested. They checked out the Yelp page and were impressed with the pics of the sandwiches and its high Yelp rating. It was set, we were coming here for lunch. So on a Thursday, the six of us arrived at 12:15pm. Not knowing if they would be able to have seating us, there were two tables of six and only two peeps were sitting at one table. So we sat at one table and two of us went up to the counter to order. Since it was the first time here for all of us, we had questions about the menu items, such as what was in the Italian Mix and what was in the Crab Salad sandwich. The owner, Mary, was cordial and described each sandwich. She said she would just take our orders and we could just pay afterwards since we were all together. The sandwiches starting coming out within 5 minutes. I got the Italian Mix on Dutch Crunch with everything except pepperoncini. I can see why this is Harvey's favorite. It was big and filled with Italian deli meats, salami, mortadella and even had prosciutto and topped with provolone. Seeing pics of how large it was, I shared it with the W and it was the perfect amount of food. When the sammie came, I said we were sharing it and they thoughtfully brought another basket over. Very nice! At our table, a couple of Italian Mixes, hot Pastrami, and Turkey sandwiches were ordered. Everyone was happy with their sammies and my friend even ordered two more sandwiches to bring back home for the kids. Parma reminded me of the old school Italian Delis in SF's North Beach. Nice to see this in Concord. I will be back if I'm in the area and my Concord friends have discovered a new place for sammies and will be back.

Located in a strip mall in Concord, Parma Delicatessen serves up the best sandwiches in Contra Costa County. It's a small local deli that is like "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. I came with Harvey K. Before noon and the place was busy. A blue collar crowd with lots of law enforcement clientele. I got the Italian Mix on Dutch crunch no mayo no mustard with olive oil and vinegar. The meats were piled high with peppercinis and olive spread. "Perfection"! It was so big I had to cut 1/4 of it to take home. Harvey got the meatball sandwich full of melted cheese and marinara on a toasted crust bun. The hot food looked delicious especially the meat loaf. Next time for sure. I liked this place when I first walked in blasting the Y2K country music satellite radio station.
